There are just too many smartphones to choose from in the today's mobile phone market. There's the ever-popular iPhone and its closest rival the Android phone. But who can neglect RIM's ever-reliable for business that is the Blackberry? Then there are o2 phones and many more.
With a wide array of selection, consumers either tend to upgrade their mobile phones more often or they don't know what to get for themselves anymore. While smartphones practically have everything you will in a mobile phone (which is really swell!) I have always preached that you get only what you need. For example, if you can get what you need in a Nokia smartphone, then why get an iPhone for twice the price? But that's me.
But if you are a mobile phone user more concerned with the status symbol than an iPhone provides, then you better be able to afford it. Look at business enterprises, they don't seem to have any complains about the Blackberry. And they have been using it for years. Heck, even the US President got a Blackberry! Know what I mean?
