Sprint Nextel has introduced more products to its HTC Evo line of devices including its first 3D WiMAX smartphone and its second tablet, a CDMA EV-DO/WiMAX tablet, the Evo View 4G. The HTC Evo 3D is the first smartphone in the US that includes a 3D display that provides a glasses-free 3D viewing experience. The smartphone captures 3D video in 720p via dual 5-megapixel cameras and plays it back in 1080p. Users can also move between 3D and 2D capture. The HTC smartphone runs on Google's latest version of Android 2.3 platform and HTC's Sense user interface
The Evo View features scribe technology. The tablet comes with a pen and includes e-ink technology that allows users to write notes. The Evo View, similar to the HTC Flyer (released in February) runs on Android 2.4 with 32 GB of internal storage.
